summer time and the livings easy...

i saw drumline play the cadence today at the basketball game. it made me remember band camp. then i realized how much i miss summer. the freedom of summer. the way the clothes are more comfortable. the way it feels like you get more sleep even if you have summer school in the morning. the week long sleepovers. the way laughs sound more filling. the way you can just sit and enjoy the day. the way the breeze feels in the hot car. band camp. not having to be home so early. the way the most boring day can be fun just because its summer. i want summer to come. i cant wait to be out of school.
